Kristen Lampros, LISCW (she/her)

Kristen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and the Founder of Rooted Counseling Services. Kristen is an MSW graduate of Salem State University where she serves as an advisor to current social work students. At Rooted Counseling Services, Kristen meets with children and adults and has a special interest in female mental health and parent-child-relationship where she works with both parents and children to increase attunement and attachment. Outside of Rooted Counseling Services, Kristen continues to serve as an adoption social worker where she creates permanency plans for children in the foster care system. Her experience includes working in homes with families, within state residential programs for adults, and as an outpatient therapist in public high schools.

Amy is a Licensed Certified Social Worker and an MSW graduate of Boston University. Amy has formal training in CBT. She specializes in working with children and adolescents, with a clinical focus on trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapy, pre- and post-natal maternal mental health, and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).

Amanda is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and is an MSW graduate of Boston University. Her clinical experience includes providing intensive therapeutic services to individuals and families through CBHI services, and outpatient individual and family therapy. She has training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed practices. She specializes in working with children, young adults, and families with a clinical focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD and family conflict.

She also has extensive experience working with first responders, Veterans/active military, and their family members.

Caitlin LeBlanc, LMHC (she/her)

Caitlin has her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Bay Path University and has several years of experience working in the mental health field serving children, families, and adults in a variety of settings including Early Intervention and child welfare. Her expertise includes working with children as young as three years old, adolescents, young adults, and families dealing with traumatic situations, developmental needs, and adjustment disorders.
Caitlin has experience providing services for individuals and families presenting with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, problematic behaviors, and trauma. Caitlin also has a passion working with new parents and exploring the journey into parenthood. Caitlin strives to create a safe space for clients to feel supported, safe, and free from judgement

Kaylea Robillard, MA (she/her)

Kaylea is a mental health counselor specializing in trauma and grief. Kaylea enjoys working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Her experience includes various populations and settings including children and adolescents to adults within in-patient, group home and outpatient environments.
Kaylea strives to help clients heal and collaboratively work with them to build resiliency and positivity within themselves, their life and their future. Her approach involves an empathic heart, providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to feel respected, accepted and supported. She utilizes CBT, DBT, Positive Psychology and Client-Centered Psychology as the foundation but looks to cater and personalize each approach specifically and appropriately to the client and their needs.

Andrea Long, PsyD

Andrea Long earned her Psy.D. from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH. She received a masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College and a masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch.
Andrea started her career supporting children and teens on the autism spectrum and has worked as a consultant for schools and non-profit agencies serving individuals living with a range of mental health and developmental challenges. She has experience as a group facilitator at an inpatient behavioral health center that provides acute psychiatric care to children and adults.
Andrea enjoys working with clients to improve their self-esteem and to develop their skills to better manage anxiety, depression and emotional regulation. She has a special interest in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
Andrea develops creative interventions influenced by Positive Psychology, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She recently started incorporating pet therapy into her work. Her bunny, Honeybuns, is in the office on Tuesday and Thursday.

Grace Wexler, LCSW (they/she)

Grace ( they/them/she/her) has a Master’s in Social Work from Salem State University and is a licensed social worker. Grace has experience working with adults in group, individual and case management settings as well as clinical experience with LGBTQ+ and TGNC adolescents, adults and families.
Grace is most passionate about utilizing person-centered, narrative and humanistic therapies and enjoys working from a mindfulness, strengths and empowerment perspective. Grace finds endless value in empathic listening and brings a trauma informed and heartfelt exploration to topics of identity, religious trauma, depression, and anxiety.

Stella Macharia, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC (she/her)

Stella Macharia is a dual- board-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Stella has extensive psychiatric nursing experience having worked in inpatient, homecare and outpatient settings. Stella has experience in Anxiety disorders, Bipolar disorders, Mood disorders, Psychotic disorders and other mental illnesses.
She believes in holistic approach and often incorporates pharmacology and psychoeducation to help her clients gain insight into their conditions, embrace their strengths and overcome their challenges. In addition, she believes that treatment is a partnership (client and prescriber) built on respect, care, and understanding. She utilizes a client-centered approach with shared decision making to formulate individualized treatment goals and optimize treatment adherence.
Stella’s goal is to work together with her clients to formulate the best treatment plan; built on care, respect and understanding. She understands the stigma surrounding mental illness and difficulties clients may be experiencing and hopes to be able to work with each and every of her clients to find that balance and help them navigate life as best as they can.
Stella earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College followed by her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from the same institution. She furthered her education with a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Regis College. With extensive clinical experience spanning various healthcare settings, Stella has demonstrated expertise in psychiatric and primary health care.
Outside of work, Stella enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also enjoys staying active through exercise, swimming and hiking. For individuals seeking compassionate and comprehensive mental health care, Stella offers expertise, empathy, and a commitment to supporting their journey toward optimal mental well-being.

Her clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health challenges. She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients, building upon their existing strengths with new tools and techniques. Jennifer uses evidence-based practices tailored specifically to individual client needs and has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and group facilitation. Her public health background informs her holistic approach, and she believes nutrition, mindfulness, and movement can play important roles in mental health. Travis holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UMass Boston and a Master's in Higher Education from Merrimack College. Travis is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, and uses an intersectional approach influenced by person-centered, narrative, and humanistic techniques. They strive to help you build skills and cope with challenges in a way that feels approachable and real.
With experience working with a diverse range of clients from middle schoolers to adults, Travis welcomes individuals of all backgrounds into the session room and has a special fondness for working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. Along with trauma work, Travis also specializes in working with those who have depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Travis also has a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut and brings several years of experience in family therapy to Rooted. They have worked with both families and individuals within the family system, including families involved with the foster care system. Jennifer Leonardo, PhD, LCSW (she/her)

Jennifer uses collaborative and strength-based approaches to support each person in their journey to achieve their goals and to live a life that is meaningful to them. She has a practice interest in acceptance and commitment therapy and her approach is humanistic and trauma-informed. Depending on each person, she will also draw upon CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing strategies. She specializes in treating life adjustments, anxiety, and depression with young adults and adults in outpatient settings. She is a certified QPR gatekeeper instructor and has facilitated groups for domestic violence survivors. Jennifer received her PhD and MSW from Boston College and AB in biology from Harvard University. She is bicultural and bilingual in Portuguese.

Sarah is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. She graduated from Lesley University’s Art Therapy program and has experience in adolescent group programming, as well as high risk populations in both residential and forensic settings. Sarah enjoys utilizing art materials, visuals, or creative thinking and writing, to help depict and process the wonders in our everyday lives. She believes having an imaginative approach to the therapeutic space allows clients to recognize their own strengths and seek strength from inside themselves.
Sarah's clinical interest include working with clients through the lifespan, particularly with those who are navigating life transitions and are working to understand more of their own identity. Sarah also has a fondness for working with individuals in a group setting as well as families.
